center & network support group to ensure 24x7 availability, integrity, and
performance of critical enterprise systems and applications. Report directly to
CIO/VP Information Technology. Hire, direct, review and mentor staff and
contractors supporting up to 80 servers and 200-500 internal users. Administer
database, web, email, ERP, and e-learning delivery systems running on Windows
and AS/400 platforms in single and multi-site environments.

Deployed and managed Internet and application infrastructure for web based
training systems serving as many as 370,000 course completions per month.
Maintain high availability, performance, and change control integrity on

Managed long term growth of data center from a half dozen servers to as many

development roles through a complex SAP ERP implementation in 1999-2000.
Key Achievements:
- Member of IT group that moved company into new HQ
offices, upgrading network infrastructure to 100 Mb fiber backbone with
Cisco Catalyst 5000 switches, PIX firewall, and 45 Mb DS-3 internet service
- Core team member on a two phase, 11 month SAP ERP
migration project for 500 users
- Built an intranet web site to facilitate internal
communication and bring internet technologies into daily internal business
operations
- Migrated 500 user email system from Novel GroupWise
to Microsoft Exchange, including 4 remote sites

mainframe and PC software maintenance and development.

- Created the first departmental website on campus early in 1994 and the
first intranet shortly afterwards
